Sips & Tips for Joe's Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab

Our primary goal at Joe’s is to make your experience special and memorable, and this month's Somm Series will do both! November 21 – 27 we'll be offering two of the most intriguing selections ever produced in Washington State - stop by and try them before they're gone.

Since 1977, Leonetti Cellar has been paving the way as Walla Walla’s first bonded winery. Founder Gary Figgins believed that world class wines could be produced in the region, and it has quickly become one of the most highly sought-after in the United States. Carrying on the family tradition, Gary’s son Chris currently assumes the duties as Director of Winemaking. The Leonetti Cellar, Merlot, Walla Walla Valley, Washington ($18 3oz / $36 6oz) is the flagship wine of the red-wine dominant Leonetti portfolio. Loaded with notes of blueberry and currant, this wine is perfectly suited for Joe’s Signature Bone-In Filet Mignon.

The wines of Quilceda Creek have received more 100 point scores than any other winery in Washington. Alex and Jeanette Golitzin, under the guidance of world-renowned Napa Valley winemaker André Tchelistcheff, have been making ridiculously good reds from the beginning. Rarely available by the glass, the Quilceda Creek, Cabernet Sauvignon, Columbia Valley, Washington ($35 3oz / $70 6oz) is a seamless perfection. 100% Cabernet offers powerful notes of blackberry and chocolate, followed by spice and mineral undertones.   This selection makes a great match for our Porterhouse steak.
