Sips & Tips for Joe's Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab

Far Niente and Nickel & Nickel: two of the most respected wine producers in California, if not the world.  Stop by Joe’s October 17 – 23 to taste four of their stellar selections!

Produced from 100% Chardonnay grapes, the Far Niente, Chardonnay, Napa Valley, California ($20 6oz) is a new addition to our glass pour program. Its fruit sourced from the cool growing region of Coombsville, the wine opens with light tropical aromas of melon and hints of citrus. It finishes rich and full on the palate with a light acidity, making a great match for the Roasted Alaskan Halibut with Wild Mushrooms & White Asparagus.

No dinner at Joe’s is officially complete until you’ve enjoyed a slice of one of our signature pies!  The only thing better than Banana Cream Pie is enjoying it with a glass of Dolce, Late Harvest, Napa Valley, California ($14 2oz). Aromas of apricot, poached pear and orange rind offer a unique opportunity to taste “Liquid Gold” in a glass.  This famous dessert wine is not to be missed!

Packed with aromas of ripe raspberry and pomegranate, followed by lush fruit notes that gently coat the palate, the EnRoute, Les Pommiers, Pinot Noir, Russian River Valley, California ($9 3oz or $18 6oz) is an easy-drinking glass of red that will pair perfectly with our Salmon Au Poivre.

A signature wine in the portfolio, the Far Niente, Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley, California ($22 3oz / $44 6oz) begins with powerful aromas of blackberry and cacao that give way to boysenberry and a silky tannin.  This bold and hearty selection makes a great pairing for our Bone-In Filet Mignon.
